- 1/2 medium onion - finely chopped
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (start with just 1/4 teaspoon on low heat, adjust to taste if needed)
- 1 teaspoon syrup (again, you may want to start with half and taste)
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay Spices
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt (less or depending on personal taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 3 cups extra sharp cheddar cheese - shredded
- 12 oz Crab Tail (fresh or frozen) - cooked, shellfish, steamed
- 3/4 cup pancake batter
- 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
A very simple step to make Lobster McN Kazun Cheese
- First, you prepare your skis. For convenience, I use a 12-ounce bag of frozen, fully cooked, ready-to-use tails that I can pick up at our local grocery store. The brand comes from Bordeaux. To prepare, place the cold pack in cold water for 30 minutes until thawed. After the carefully cut package has thawed, pour the cranberry stems into a colander and rinse with cold water. Drain excess water and place on a plate (several layers) of paper towels. Cover with several more paper towels and press lightly to absorb moisture. Leave it aside. - Turn off the fire. All spices and seasonings (I have attached this step for quick running). Beat until well blended. Add 2 cups of grated cheese and beat until completely melted and the pan is smooth.
- Continue to stir-fry in the soup from the bowl. Fold them in a bit until they all come together. Enjoy your blessings. Adjust the spices according to your taste and desire.
- Add the cooked pasta to the soup. Stir gently until fully combined. This time it should look like a "soup".
- Transfer the prepared mac and cheese to the pan. Fill the glasses with the remaining cheese after mixing the bread. Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until the top foam and breadcrumbs are golden brown.
